when looking at one of the young girls doing the survey with the dolls, i was so struck by the sadness in her face.
I thought this was really an amazing documentary. This documentary was produced by Kiri Davis, Director, Reel Works Teen Filmmaking, Producer. She worked with Reel Works Teen Filmmaking at http://www.reelworks.org/. You can buy it for $25.00 from the web site (i think it is on a compilation)
i think that knowing how to represent your ideas and yourself on video is really powerful, and teen video programs that have promoted this idea have really changed the lives of the kids involved.
